We're Reading the New Testament together as a Church!
The Savannah Church is reading through the New Testament together this year!

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
As of June 11, we've completed Matthew, Mark and John, and are now reading Luke. Next will be Acts. The sermons on Sunday and our Midweek classes are all connected with the reading plan.
Additionally, we are all memorizing one passage from each book. By Christmas, we will all have memorized 27 passages from God's Word! Please be sure to learn the context around the verses, and not just the verse in isolation. Here are the memory verses (so far)...
Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (NIV)
Mark 11:22 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. (NIV)
John 11:40 Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" (NIV)
Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. (NIV)
When God's word is written on our hearts, like Jesus in the desert, we can stand up to anything the enemy throws at us. Join us as we read and memorize God's word.
