A Congregational Time of Fasting and Prayer - January 1 through 19
A Congregational Time of Fasting and Prayer - January 1 through 19
Theme: "Pray Continually" (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

The members of the Savannah Church will be fasting and praying together the first three weeks of 2025, asking God to direct our steps, magnify and/or change our plans, and transform our hearts. Fasting and prayer has been practiced since the first century. We will be breaking our fast together on Sunday January 19 with a very special First Century Sunday.
Corporate focus for the Fast
The goal is to turn to God as a church in humility and beg God for new visions and dreams to do his will.
Our theme this year is centered on prayer and devotion—prayer, devotion to God, to His Word, and to
one another.
In Acts 2:42, we read about the early church and how they devoted themselves to four key areas:
• The apostles' teaching
• Fellowship
• The breaking of bread
• Prayer
This year, we want to build a culture of prayer in our fellowship. We will focus on strengthening our
devotion to prayer, not just individually, but as a united body of believers.
We encourage you to prayerfully consider these personal goals as you engage in this fast.
